As an art historian with a penchant for Turkey's architectural marvels, my recent visit to the Samoy Hotel in Marmaris was a delightful blend of comfort and culture. the small family-owned venue exudes a warm, familial atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. the staff, fluent in English and German, were the true gems, always going above and beyond to cater to our needs. Each morning, I eagerly awaited the buffet-style breakfast, a culinary journey that showcased a variety of traditional Turkish dishes. the Seray Restaurant, just a short walk away, also offered a wonderful dining experience, adding a touch of culinary innovation to our gourmet getaway. The hotel's charming bar provided the perfect setting to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions. Whether savoring a dish at Kahveci Alibey Finedining or indulging in a cocktail at Purple Garden, the culinary options in the vicinity were diverse and delightful. I highly recommend this hidden gem for fellow travelers seeking a taste of Turkish hospitality.
